Busy week for rescue team with two callouts.
Bay Search and Rescue team (BSAR) responded to two callouts this week.
The team first responded to two people being cut off by the incoming tide at Grange. Local residents spotted them and guided them off waist deep through a fast filling channel.
Another member of the public rang 99 and the coastguard who contacted the BSAR.
The second callout was a missing person request from Cumbria Police, who has now been found.
Volunteers from the BSAR took to Facebook to tell people to be careful around the coast this weekend as the tides enter the Bay at speed and can catch even the most experienced out, check the tide times and be safe and in the event of an emergency dial 999 ask for the Coastguard.
