Mother who took the plunge to start online business to help people shares important message.

24 year-old, Olivia Till originally from Liverpool but moved to Ulverston when she was 8 said whilst on maternity leave with her now 18 month boy she wanted to start a business where she could help people using skills from her degree in Fashion design.

"I wanted to build my own business after having my boy but I didn’t’ know what I wanted to do.

"I knew I wanted to help other businesses and help them succeed but at an affordable price.

"If you look online and at other businesses the prices are ridiculous for start up - that's why I decided to start Olivia Virtuals AS."

Originally starting out as a hobbie, Olivia launched her website development site and social media management business in January 2021 ans has worked with many businesses to get them set.

Tech coordinator at BAE systems, Barrow, Olivia stressed the importance of having self-confidence in making the plunge in starting an indepedent business.

She said: "Starting a business and not knowing how it's going to go is a gamble but it's about having self confidence and being positive.

"I always believe in others when doing work with them and bringing their ideas to life - I am a creative person who loves doing what I do and seeing people happy.

"If you have a can do attitude anything is possible."

Olivia, returned to work in April after being on maternity. She said she doesn't know how she juggles her time but it's about being self motivated.

"If you want to do something you’ll find the time."

Inspiring her is her son who she said: "I want my son to grow up knowing anything is possible he puts his mind to."
