Recruits sought to help careers hub expand
Cumbria Careers Hub is expanding in time for the new academic year to include all eligible secondary schools, special schools and colleges in the County.
Cumbria Local Enterprise Partnership (CLEP) hosts and part funds the Careers Hub, through a contractual arrangement with the Careers and Enterprise Company.
The Careers Hub currently has 40 local schools and colleges working together with universities, training providers, employers and career professionals to improve careers education.
Careers Hub Manager Cath Dutton said: “This is brilliant news for the young people of Cumbria, especially those with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) who haven’t had access to this support previously."
Careers provision within secondary schools and colleges in Cumbria is now rated amongst the best in England.
