LIGHTBURN Park will be the venue of an event planned for August 14.
It will be a family-friendly event, featuring street artists, face painting, music, classes and workshops, run by Ulverston Food Waste Project.
A man playing vegetable instruments has already been booked, and the organisers are say more is coming.
"We really can't wait to bring everyone back together again to celebrate community and cooperation as well as the recently renovated Lightburn Park," they posted on Facebook.
"Basically we want to have a lovely ol' time with you all after what has been a pretty difficult 18 months for many of us."
They also issued an appeal to any acts who might be able to contribute.
The plea read: "We are looking for acts, artists, workshop leaders & eco friendly crafty traders. Oh and a marquee or some coverage!
"Please get in touch if you would like to volunteer at the event or sponsor us and help make this shindig happen."
