THE police have given an update on the A590 crash which saw the road near Newby Bridge closed for a period on Thursday evening.
Police were called to the scene of the four-car collision at 3.27pm.
Cumbria Constabulary have now confirmed that no life-threatening or life-changing injuries have occurred.
