Readers react after a Nazi graffiti scrawled on the memorial that honours Barrows' war dead has been roundly condemned.

A Swastika was daubed on the Cenotaph in Barrow Park, which bears the names of nearly 900 soldiers killed in combat, alongside the names of two 'far-right groups',

The vandalism has been described as 'disgusting' and 'shocking'.

It is the second time in three months that Nazi graffiti has been left in the park.

John Eccles said: "Absolutely appalling and disgusting that anyone can do this! They have zero respect."
