MORE than 1.1 million people across Lancashire and South Cumbria have been vaccinated, official figures now show.
Lancashire and South Cumbria Health and Care Partnership revealed the statistic on Thursday and added that they have delivered 2,000,000 doses so far.
As of June 20, nearly two-thirds of people in Barrow have received two doses of a Covid-19 vaccine, figures reveal.
NHS data shows 34,903 people had received both jabs by June 20, 63 per cent of those aged 16 and over, based on the latest population estimates from the Office for National Statistics.
Of those to have received both jabs, 33,920 were aged 25 and over – 69 per cent of the age group.
It means 983 people aged between 16 to 25 have received both doses.
Across Barrow, 82 per cent of those aged 16 and over have had one jab.
