A TEEN was arrested on suspicion of assault after a man was hospitalised with serious injuries.
Police are investigating an incident of assault that occurred at around 1am on Sunday June 13, on Longway near the junction with Thrums Street in Barrow
The incident involved two men. A local man in his 30s has sustained serious injuries as a result, he was taken to Furness General Hospital. He has since been discharged.
An 18-year-old man from Barrow was arrested on suspicion of assault occasioning in grievous bodily harm. He has been released on police bail.
