A MAN accused of being more than double the legal limit for drink driving is set to appear in court.
On March 27, Matthew Jordan, of Windermere Road, Kendal, is alleged to have had 80 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath, whilst driving on the A591 in Rydal.
The legal limit is 35.
Jordan is also accused of driving a mechanically propelled vehicle without due care and attention.
This is alleged to have happened on March 27 when he was driving on the A591.
He will now face the charges at South Cumbria Magistrates’ Court on June 14.
