CUMBRIA Trading Standards have issued a warning over buying fake products online.
The public body have warned residents that buying these items could lead to theft of personal details.
Cumbria Trading Standards said: "Selling fake products online has proven to be a new avenue for criminals to steal your personal details. Keep your money safe. Stop funding criminals. Don't buy fakes."
Sites selling counterfeit goods often look legitimate by featuring advertising from reputable companies and accepting major credit cards.
