Massive apologies have been sent from the organisers behind the hugely popular town event who have made the decision to cancel festival.

Director of Ulverstons Festival Another Fine Fest, Dave Crossley posted an announcement on Facebook, Wednesday June 9 that after many hours, days and sleepless nights agonising over this, have decided to focus all of their efforts on 2022 into creating the biggest and best festival possible for their return.

The post continues saying ongoing health has made planning over the last few months very difficult, especially during these uncertain and unpredictable times.

Planners of the event promise to only every produce next level events of the utmost quality, delivered to the best of their abilities and doubted they wouldn’t be able to deliver a festival of this nature, given the difficulties and uncertainties that they have faced.

Dave said he is now working on a series of smaller scale fundraising events between now and June 2022 so they are still able to raise funds for their chosen charities, St Mary’s Hospice and Ulverston Food Waste Project.

Alfresco Flicks – Movies under Moonlight will still be going ahead as planned and will be announcing a replacement event for the festival soon.

Another Fine Fest is intending to return Friday June 17 – Saturday June 19 2022
