POLICE appeal for witnesses to crash on A595 which sees woman hospitalised .

The two car collision took place near Duddon Bridge at around 7am today.

A spokeswoman for Cumbria Constabulary said: "Police were contacted at 7:13am on June 10 to a report of a collision on the A595, near High Cross Brow.

"Involved in the collision was a Ford Focus and a Peugeot 107.

"The driver of the Peugeot, a woman in her 20’s, was taken to Furness General Hospital with minor injuries. The driver of the Ford was uninjured.

"The road was blocked while emergency services and recovery were on scene but has since re-opened.

"Anyone with information or who witnessed the incident is encouraged to contact PC 2522 on 101, quoting incident number 38 of June 10.
