PLANS: Spring Mount Church in Barrow which is vacant
PLANS have been approved to use a vacant church for multi-faith funerals.
Barrow Borough Council has given the thumbs up to plans submitted by Dignity Funerals for a Certificate of Lawfulness of Proposed Use or Development for the former Spring Mount Church in Barrow.
The company has a branch based at George Hall and Son funeral directors.
According to the plans, the new occupiers of the building will retain the service chapel in its entirety for funeral services. There are no extensions proposed to the building.
