MORE than a dozen volunteers picked up an array of litter in a bid to clean up Ulverston's streets.
17 members of Ulverston in Bloom & Gill Banks Action Group filled a bag full of litter to help rid the town of rubbish.
A spokesman said: "Cigarette ends, sweet wrappers, masks, bottles, cans, empty food containers, plastic bags, crisp packets and lots of bottle tops and small plastic pieces and silver foil and sometimes right next to a bin.
"This was our contribution to the Great British Spring Clean."
