ENVIRONMENTAL enthusiasts are invited to take part in a South Cumbrian beach clean this month.
The Silecroft Beach Clean will take place on June 19 at 10am.
The event has been organised by Beach Clean Cumbria.
Event organisers said: "We're going to Silecroft beach on Saturday, June 19 at 10am for some beach cleaning.
"Would be great to see a few of you there!
"Please still observe the national Covid rules, and we can stay spread out on the beach.
"We have a supply of heavy duty bags if you need one, and can also lend you some gloves if you don't have any.
"We have a few litter pickers we can lend out too, but they're not essential.
"Please wear sturdy footwear and dress for the Cumbrian weather."
