A MAN is due to appear in court next week after being accused of possessing cannabis and drug driving.
Danny Evans, of Bank Head in Haverigg, has been charged with driving on St George’s Road while over the limit for substances known as Delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol and Benzoylecgonine(cocaine breakdown product) in his blood.
The 24-year-old has also been charged with possession of a Class B drug - cannabis.
All three charges date back to December 29, 2020.
He is due to face South Cumbria Magistrates’ Court on June 8.
