The Lake District is bracing itself once again for another very busy weekend with inviting temperatures and more car parks advising of spaces online.

Tony Watson, the lake district national park authority’s head of visitor services said: “Visitors can expect it to be extremely busy in the lake district this weekend. Our advice is to make sure you plan ahead, be flexible and have a variety of choices in mind as many car parks will be full early on in the day. Please use saferlakes.co.uk to get real time information on what areas of the lake district are busy and park considerately at all times.”

South Lakeland district council are also pointing people to look at the safer lakes webpage before heading out this weekend.
