BARROW Police are looking to crack down on littering in the area and have urged residents to get involved.
They are working with Streetcare from Barrow Borough Council to ensure our streets are a more pleasant environment to live.
A spokesman for Barrow Police said: "Streetcare are committing a tremendous amount of time and manpower to target those that fly-tip and identify those responsible for general waste littering in our back streets. Any information to assist with this can be emailed into Streetcare via streetcare@barrowbc.gov.uk.
"Remember we are looking to develop how we determine the policing priorities in your area and we would be grateful for those who have not taken the survey to take a moment and fill out the anonymous form to help us tackle the issues that matter to you most."
This form can be found on the Cumbria Police website.
