A MOTORIST caught while nearly three times the drink drive limit has been banned from the road.
Roy Palmer admitted that he drove a Citroen Berlingo at Millom on March 12 with 206 milligrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of blood, over the limit of 60.
At South Cumbria Magistrates’ Court, the 61-year-old, of The Green, was told to carry out 100 hours of unpaid work and banned for 22 months.
