RESEARCH has revealed that married couples in Cumbria have one of the highest marriage success rates in the UK.
According to new findings researched by Flowercard, married couples living in Cumbria have the ninth highest marriage success rate across the UK, at 91.08 per cent.
The UK as a whole has a marriage success rate of 59.09 per cent.
The study analysed government data to discover the number of divorces that were finalised between 2011-2020 to reveal what parts of the UK and the world have the highest marriage success rate.

When it comes to the counties where couples are more likely to stay together, Somerset comes out on top, with a marriage success rate of 93.88 per cent.
