CHILDREN are invited to join free, in-person animation workshops during the May half term.
Participants will work with professional filmmaker, Karen Bird, and Signal Film and Media Staff to design and create a claymation character and bring them to life using stop-motion animation - just like Wallace and Gromit.
At the end of the workshops, all participants' animations will be put together into a short film to show off to friends and relatives.
There will be two workshops available each day, over the course of three days, with each workshop lasting two hours.
All workshops will be socially distanced with a maximum of six children.
The sessions will take place at Cooke's Studios on Abbey Road, Barrow. The first sessions will take place on May 29, with the last on May 31.
Signing up in advance is a must, with applications to be sent in today. Visit: https://tinyurl.com/47n6kun3
