RETIREMENT: The takeaway will be closing after 40 years
OWNERS of a popular Barrow takeaway have announced that they will be closing their doors after 40 years of business.
Yungnien, on Cavendish Street, served up Chinese food to customers for four decades.
In an announcement on social media, a spokeswoman said: "Dear customers, after 40 years of business we have decided that this would be the right time to retire.
"It has been an absolute pleasure to serve you all, and we have met thousands of wonderful people during all these years, many of these have remained to be good friends.
"We are very grateful for all your custom, support and love.
"It’s been quite an amazing journey and we enjoyed feeding everyone!"
