A MAN has been jailed for 60 days for assault and using violence to secure entry into a house.
Tony Robert Miller admitted the offences that he committed on New Year’s Eve last year when he appeared before South Cumbria Magistrates’ Court.
The court heard the defendant used violence to enter a house in Barrow and assaulted a man.
The 34-year-old, of Barrow’s Annan Street, also admitted committing an offence while serving a suspended sentence.
The court also imposed a restraining order banning Miller from contacting a woman until November 2022.
