A VOLUNTEER has raised hundreds of pounds by sky-diving over Cumbria.
Dave Rothery, one of the volunteer deputy launch authorities at St Bees RNLI, took on the challenge of a tandem skydive over Grange.
Mr Rothery, who also volunteers for Blood Bikes Cumbria, raised £600 for both charities.
He said: “This was a great experience and something I had wanted to do for a long time. I would like to thank all my friends and family who helped raise money for these two brilliant charities.
“This donation will be put to good use.”
