A LEADING Cumbrian training organisation is offering free courses for jobseekers.
Gen2, part of the City & Guilds Group, is working with Cumbria County Council Community Learning and Skills to offer fully-funded courses at their centres in Workington, Carlisle and Furness.
The courses, which are scheduled to run between now and August, are designed for those who are unemployed, or on low income or benefits.
The overall aim of the courses is to equip delegates with the confidence, experience and skills needed to progress into sustainable employment.
Gen2 managing director, Amanda Towers said: “The courses are a welcome investment to help develop the skills of local people who may not be able to afford the training themselves.”
