A BARROW man is set to stand trial at Preston Crown Court.
Scott Hornby, of Rawlinson Street, Barrow, pleaded not guilty to theft before magistrates at South Cumbria Magistrates’ Court on Thursday.
Hornby is alleged to have stolen £307.60 worth of items, including alcohol, perfume and razor blades, from Tesco Extra, Cornerhouse Park, Barrow on March 30, 2021.
The case will now be heard at Preston Crown Court on June 11.
Hornby is now on conditional bail.
As part of the bail conditions, Hornby will not be allowed to enter the Tesco Extra shop until the trial.
