A POPULAR Cumbrian festival is on the lookout for budding artists and musicians to take to the stage for its return in July.
Over the years, Kendal Calling has played host to some of the biggest homegrown artists in the UK, from Calvin Harris, Mumford and Sons and The 1975.
The festival’s apply-to-play service is now available and is open to any and all artists who wish to submit their music to the booking team.
Successful artists will get the chance to play to thousands in the fields this year alongside household names such as Supergrass, Stereophonics and The Streets.
Emma Zillman, festival booker, said: “I love listening to what comes in through artist applications; it's a great way to discover new talent.
“The smaller stages at the festival are always full of people who love to find new artists, so it's a great opportunity to pick up fans.”
Kendal Calling returns to Lowther Deer Park, Cumbria, from Jul 29 to August 1.
Weekend tickets are now sold out, however people can join the waiting list atkendalcalling.co.uk
