A MAN has been handed a community order after sending a sexually explicit message to a teenager.
Nigel Burton, 36, of Landels Court in Penrith, appeared at Carlisle Magistrates Court on April 4.
He pleaded guilty one charge to sending an indecent image of his genitals with an explicit message to a 16-year-old girl for the purpose of causing to a distress to the recipient.
He was ordered to undertake 200 hours unpaid work, pay a victim surcharge of £85 and costs of £85.
