POLICE are investigating a report of an arson which happened near Dalton.
Police are investigating reports of an Arson that occurred between 12pm and 12.45pm last Friday, at Snipe Gill, Marton.
Fire and police attended the scene.
Two areas by the road were alight and the fire spread up the hill. There were no injuries.
It was reported that a dark coloured vehicle was seen driving around the Snipe Gill area at the time of incident.
Officers are keen to speak with the driver of that vehicle, who was described as a white male aged in his 70’s.
We would also like to hear from anyone who may have witnessed anything suspicious.
