A MAN has been arrested after allegedly threatening residents in Ulverston with a 'bladed article'.
Police were contacted at 5:57pm yesterday to a report of an incident on Soutergate.
It was reported that a male, who had a bladed article, was threatening members of the public.
A 47-year-old man from Ulverston was arrested on suspicion of affray. He has since been released on police bail.
No injuries were reported.
