A DRAMA society is running its first live performance after over a year without live theatre.
Ulverston Outsiders presents 'Love Letters' its first live performance in more than 15 months since lockdown restrictions were eased.
The play, by A R Gurney, follows childhood friends Andrew and Melissa who were both born to wealthy parents.
Their life long correspondence begins with birthday party invitations, thank you notes and summer camp postcards.
They continue to write to each other through school and college, exchanging letters telling of trials and tribulations, successes and every day life.
The performances are taking place at The Roxy theatre in Ulverston on June 5 and 6.
Tickets are £7 and can be purchased online at http:/ulverston.nm-cinemas.co.uk/ulverston or by ringing the box office number on 01229 582340.
