INCIDENT: A fire was reported on Monday.
A fire caused disruption in the Roosecote area of Barrow on Monday.
Emergency services attended the incident on Roa Island Road just after 10am following a report that a van was on fire.
Cumbria police have confirmed that no injuries were reported and that the event is not being treated as suspicious.
They added: “Police were contacted at 10.08am on April 19 to a report of a fire on Roa Island Road, Barrow. The road was blocked while officers, members of the fire service, Highways England and recovery were on scene but has since reopened.”
