‘HARRI’ the health and wellbeing engagement vehicle is inviting Barrow residents to chat with a team of professionals.

Health Advice Recovery Resilience Information (HARRI) allows professionals to travel and talk with local communities and individuals.

The HARRI vehicle belongs to the Lancashire and South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust.

On board there will be a mixed group from within the NHS and beyond, enabling them to offer a range of information for those who seek it.

Furness Carers, Age UK, Barrow ICC Care Navigators, The Well Communities, Walney Community Trust, Community Development Team and a local PCSO will be in attendance.

The team aims to engage with residents to share ideas and plans for the future, to gain insight into what peoples needs are, and to offer signposting, advice and guidance to get the right help at the right time.

The vehicle includes a private consulting area with disabled access.

The vehicle will be at Earnse Bay Car Park from 10am to 3pm this Thursday.
