AN ULVERSTON based hospice is encouraging people to get active with the restarting of their 'Walking for Health' walks.
Starting up again on Monday, the walks will take place every Monday at 10.30.
Each walk will start and finish from St Mary's Living Well Centre, on Duke Street in Barrow.
According to the walk organisers, the walks invite people to "discover more of your local area, meet new people and enjoy being outdoors."
Each week will see participants take part in short walks on pavements and paths around Hindpool and Channelside.
To learn more about the walks, and find out how you can get involved, you can call St Mary's Living Well Centre for more details on: 01229 444407. You can also visit St Mary's Hospice on Facebook.
