FIVE PEOPLE have been arrested in Barrow following raids by Cumbria Police.
Teams from the tactical support group, Barrow, South Lakes and the police dog section executed two warrants in the Barrow area on Thursday 8 April.
Cumbria Police say class A and B drugs and cash were seized after the searches.
The warrants were executed at an address on Greengate Street and another on Longway, Barrow.
A statement from Cumbria Police added: "As a result of these warrants, five people were arrested.
"A 22-year-old man from Liverpool, on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of a Class A drug.
"A 36-year-old man from Norwich, on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of a Class A drug and failure to comply with notification requirements on the sex offender’s register.
"A 48-year-old woman from Barrow, on suspicion of possession with intent to supply of two Class A drugs.
"A 41-year-old woman of no fixed abode, on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of a Class A drug and possession of a Class B drug.
"A 52-year-old man from Barrow, on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of a Class A drug.
"All five remain in custody."
