NEARLY 250 people have been left without electricity after a power cut, according to Electricity North West.
Buildings in Barrow town centre have been affected.
The power cut is said to have been caused by an 'unexpected incident' on a high voltage cable.
It was first reported at 4pm.
Electricity North West engineers are due to arrive on the site and power is estimated to be returned before 7pm.
