A 36-YEAR-OLD man has been arrested on suspicion of possession of a controlled Class A drug

Officers seized a quantity of crack cocaine from a man who was reportedly hiding in the town centre.

Barrow Proactive Team have been in the town centre doing County Lines Prevent and Protect work and discovered a young man 'hiding where he shouldn't have been' on Tuesday evening.

Barrow Police seized a quantity of crack cocaine from a 36-year-old man from Norwich who was arrested in the area of Buccleuch Street on suspicion of possession of a controlled Class A drug.

He has been released under investigation.
