OFFICERS carried out a high speed pursuit on the A590 after a motorist was driving in an 'unsafe manner'.
Cumbria Police were contacted at 10.14pm on April 3 to a report of an incident on the A590 dual carriageway. It was reported that a Citroen C4 was driving in an unsafe manner.
Officers alongside Lancashire Police carried out a high speed pursuit, implementing tactics that eventually brought the vehicle to a safe and controlled stop.
Lancashire Police Drones located a suspect who had made off into fields following a cross border pursuit into the Cumbria force area.
Lancashire Police confirmed that three people were arrested.
