Roadworks are set to get under way in Askam.
The works will mean vehicles will be prohibited from travelling along the section of U6011, Duke Street, Askam.
This will extend from the junction with Duddon Road to the junction with Dalton Road (A595), continuing in an easterly direction for about 58 metres.
Cumbria County Council is carrying out the urgent works to refresh white lining.
The roadworks will start from tomorrow.
The notice will be in force for a period not exceeding five days.
It is expected that the works will take only two days.
A way for pedestrians and dismounted cyclists will be maintained at all times.
An alternative route, suitable for vehicles, will be signed and available via the unrestricted sections of Duke Street, Lots Road and Dalton Road.
