COPELAND Police have put out a warning after they dealt with an "intoxicated teenager" and a large group of youths breaking Covid-19 rules.
Cumbria Constabulary put out the warning yesterday asking parents "Do you know where your children are?"
The incident happened on Friday night.
A spokesman for the force said: "Last night Police, Fire and Ambulance were required to assist an intoxicated teenager who had fallen down an embankment, suffering no injuries.
"This wasted precious emergency services time and resources.
"This incident consisted of a large group of youths breaching covid regulations.
"Please can we remind everyone to abide by the current guidelines, thank you.
A number of residents took to social media to voice their outrage.
One said: "Unacceptable behaviour, parents should be held accountable."
Another said: "This seems to be regular occurrence with feral youths in west Cumbria, something needs to be done."
