There are some delicious looking items on the site, such as Tord Man Pla (fishcakes with a sweet sauce) and traditional Thai curries.

Tripadvisor reviewers had overwhelmingly positive things to say about the restaurant.

One person dined at the restaurant after a trip the The Lakes.

They wrote: “The food was excellent and the service was good and value for money was reasonable. Would definitely recommend if you are out and about.”

Another said: “Due to Covid-19, I ordered through Barrow eats… the food, as always, was superb with incredible spices- especially the Balti which I had extra spicy was delivered piping hot and on time. I really can’t praise this Indian enough it’s spot on.”

According to TripAdvisor, they are the best-reviewed Chinese takeaway in Barrow- so they are definitely worth a try.

On the menu, you will find classic Chinese dishes such as special fried noodles and Foo Yung dishes.

Crispy shredded chicken in OK sauce and Panang Chicken Curry are some of the chef’s specials.

While they specialise in Chinese, there are also some Thai dishes on the menu making it a versatile takeaway that will suit all taste preferences.

One happy reviewer said: “We were on holiday in barrow during the pandemic and fancied a Chinese takeaway. This exceeded our expectations and the food was lovely and the portions were huge. Would definitely recommend.”

Some of their most popular dishes are Crispy Aromatic Duck as well as Crispy Seaweed.

The TripAdvisor reviewer recommended their favourite dishes in the comments; crab meat and sweet corn soup as well as honey spare ribs are some of the dishes that stood out.

One happy reviewer said it was the ‘best takeaway by a mile’.

They wrote: The food actually came ten minutes early, piping hot and just as delicious as ever. Yes, it’s a bit more expensive than your average takeaway, but you are getting top class restaurant food.

From baltis to bhunas, every Indian dish you can think of is on the menu.

They also have a variety of side dishes to choose from and more than 19 naan breads choices on the menu too.

One happy customer said:  “We had vindaloos, chips, naan, poppadoms and rice and it was all perfection!

“Was so good that we ordered a takeaway here the night after because we couldn’t stop thinking about it the next day.

If you fancy a bit to eat in the morning, it’s definitely worth a try if you want to see what they hype is about.

Judging from the reviews, people love this café for the homely feel and the comforting food.

One reviewer wrote: “[We had a lovely Hearty breakfast, plenty of good quality sausage, bacon, black pudding etc.

“I would highly recommend this meal will set you up for the day.”

However, breakfasts aren’t the only item on the menu and the café also specialises in toasties as well as hearty slices of meat pies, to name a few.
