EVENT organisers of a popular festival have apologised after cancelling for a second year.
Askambury was due to go ahead in July but will now not proceed due to uncertainties over coronavirus restrictions.
Event organisers said: "Sorry guys, bad news for this year.
"Unfortunately we aren’t in the position to put on a show to our usual high standards. And with the football season starting in August there is no room for manoeuvre if the date for our freedom slides further into the summer.
"That being said, there is light at the end of the tunnel which means we have no excuses for 2022! Stay safe."
