IT’S no secret that living in London is expensive.

We have already taken a look how London’s property prices compare to Cumbria’s and some of the statistics were pretty shocking.

While some of us struggle to afford a mortgage, London parking spots are being sold on Zoopla for thousands.

This particular parking spot is in York House Place in London and is listed on Zoopla for a whopping £190,000.

Thankfully, property prices are no way near as expensive in Cumbria and we will never (hopefully) have similar parking problems to London.

We wanted to showcase some of the fantastic properties for sale in Barrow- all of which cost the same or less as this London parking spot.

Here are just five that we found on Zoopla:

Summit Avenue
£190,000

For the exact same price as the London parking spot, you could get this stunning three bedroom house in Barrow.

The semi-detached home is located in a quite cul-de-sac location and would be perfect for growing families.

The lounge and dining room has an open plan design, making the space look and feel much larger than it really is.

Two of the bedrooms are double and the third is single- but all of them appear incredibly homely.

Externally, there is a small paved garden which could easily be transformed into a beautiful little outdoor area.

Best of all, the house benefits from off road parking at no extra cost to the buyer.

Windrush Crescent, Walney
£179,950

For more than £10,000 less than the London parking spot, you could get this recently renovated home.

The property benefits from modern décor and it’s ready to move straight into.

It has three bedrooms in total and also benefits from a generous size wrap around garden.

If you can’t stand to be too far from the ocean then this house is ideal as it’s a “stones throw” from the west shore.

If you look out of the window, you will get a stunning sea view.

Clarence Road
£174,950

Could you imagine yourself living in this four bedroom house?

The Clarence Road property could easily be transformed into your dream home as the décor is modern and neutral.

It’s said to be ideal for a growing family, as the property is incredibly spacious.

The interiors are said to have a lot of character and the property has retained many of its original Victorian features, such as glazed brickwork and decorative roof tiles.

Valley Drive
£184,995

For this price you get a tasteful and modern three bedroom home- and it’s still £5005 cheaper than the London parking spot listed above.

This has been described as an “exceptional” home that is ready to move straight into.

The fitted kitchen has a modern aesthetic with a mix of base and wall units that flow into the breakfast room.

The focal point of the property has to be the yard which has been well-maintained and decorated.

Holker Street
£180,000

This Holker Street property is situated on the outskirts of Barrow town centre.

Ideally located, it is close to local supermarkets as well as other shops and amenities.

It has three bedrooms in total and a sizeable lounge for the whole family to relax in.

Arguably, this property is the biggest bargain on the list; there is enough off road parking for not one, but two cars.
