An organisation in West Cumbria is reassuring users that services are still available.
Owl Blue, based in Maryport, still has autism advice days on-going, although via a slightly different format. All advice given is by fully qualified professional Amanda Denwood - Autism Support Cumbria. This will be held remotely, either by phone or video conferencing
With Covid restrictions slowly being lifted, they hope to go back to one-to-one appointments at their Maryport offices soon. Athough this remote service, will still be available to allow a countywide service.
To book an appointment, email Nichola nichola@owlblue.org or Stuart on stuart@owlblue.org. The service is open to anyone, including parents, grandparents, wider family, professionals and voluntary organisations.
Sometimes a full appointment is not required, they are happy to answer individual questions.
These can be routed through the two email addresses above or via Owl Blue’s Facebook messenger.
They say these services are free of charge and are now part funded by Cumbria County Council.
