CUMBRIANS are being encouraged to complete an act of kindness to celebrate International Women's Day.
Furness Multi-Cultural Community Forum and Youth Club are urging people of all ages to create a random act of kindness card.
A spokesperson said; "Random acts of kindness can make a big difference to people's wellbeing. We are giving out a pack to each participant including a card where you can write kind words, we will then deliver the cards to women who feel isolated.
"This is a wonderful chance and you will be sharing your kindness and positivity with someone else in the community."
All of the cards will be distributed during the week of March 8 as a way to celebrate International Women's Day.
