A DOG has been seized after attacking a man.

Police were called to Liverpool Street in Barrow at 12.56am on Sunday night to a report of a dog attack.

A male had sustained injuries to his hand and was taken to Furness General Hospital for treatment.

The dog, a large bulldog, was seized and a crime submitted for dog dangerously out of control.
