OFFICERS have issued advice to those who may be victim to romance fraud.
Cumbria Police are urging the public to spot the signs of romance fraud - the engineering of a supposed friendship or relationship for fraudulent, financial gain
Police say that romance fraudsters claim to be overseas, working in the military or as a doctor or charity worker and may ask for money. This makes them seem kind and trustworthy.
