A TEAM of eight firefighters were called out to help use bariatric equipment to transfer a man from his property into an ambulance.
Eight firefighters were called out to a property by North West Ambulance Service after paramedics were unable to transfer an elderly gentleman to hospital via ambulance.
The incident took a team of firefighters using bariatric equipment to carry the person out of the property and into the ambulance.
Crews from Barrow Fire Station and Walney Fire Station attended the incident.
