ROADWORKS: Repairs will take place over four nights.
Roadworks are currently underway in Dalton, Cumbria Highways have confirmed.
Cumbria Highways will be working on repairing a carriageway in the town.
Traffic along sections of Market Street, alongside its junctions at Station Road and Nelson Street will be prohibited at certain times.
The repairs started on February 3.
It is expected that the work will take four nights between the hours of 18:00 and 02:00.
Access for pedestrians and dismounted cyclists will be maintained at all times.
Diversion signs are posted on the unrestricted sections of Market Street and Nelson Street as well as the surrounding roads.
