Barrow Library and Archives is hosting a virtual ceremony to remember those whose lives were lost during the Holocaust.
On Wednesday the UK Holocaust Memorial Day 2021 ceremony will be streamed online from 7pm.
This will be Barrow Library's first fully digital ceremony
A spokesperson for Barrow Library and Archives said: "At 8pm, get ready to Light the Darkness with us. Households across the UK will be lighting candles and putting them in their windows to remember those who were murdered for who they were; stand against prejudice and hatred today."
People are asked to light a candle and put it in their window at 8pm, if it is safe to do so.
